Akshay Kashyap is a pioneering Indian entrepreneur championing the country’s clean energy transition through advanced and scalable green mobility solutions. As the Founder and Managing Director of Greenfuel Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Akshay has positioned the company as India’s leading B2B partner for green mobility, delivering integrated energy solutions across Lithium-ion batteries (E-Mobility & ESS), Green Hydrogen, CNG and LNG technologies for vehicular and refueling station products.

An alumnus of the Florida Institute of Technology, USA with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Akshay brings over two decades of experience spanning global engineering, business development and sustainable innovation. He began his career with Swagelok Company USA, a $1.1 billion group, where he worked in compliance engineering and international technical support. Upon returning to India, he spearheaded business development for Swagelok components at Delhi Fluid Systems Pvt. Ltd., securing key accounts across automotive, pharmaceutical and oil & gas sectors.
In 2006, Akshay launched Greenfuel with an initial investment of ?40 lakhs and a six- member team. Today, the company has grown to 500+ employees and a turnover exceeding ?191 crore, serving major Indian automotive OEMs and expanding its footprint globally.

Akshay’s leadership is grounded in zero-defect manufacturing, technology-led solutions and a commitment to sustainability. His achievements have been recognized through several national awards:

Coming from a family of entrepreneurs-best known for creating the iconic Globe geometry boxes, Akshay continues this legacy of excellence. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, scuba diving and is a dedicated yoga and Vedanta practitioner, bringing spiritual philosophy into both his life and leadership.
